The University

Teikyo Post University, founded in 1890, is a fully accredited, non-profit University in the State of Connecticut, USA.  The University enjoys the same academic reputation as Harvard University, Yale University and MIT for the accreditation awarded by New England Association of School and Colleges (NEASC) in the United States.

美國著名大學Teikyo Post University

在港開辦On-Line(網上)四個學士學位最後一年完成課程

廿一世紀的今天，隨著資訊科技的急速發展，互聯網的廣泛應用及全球經濟一體化的逐漸形成，知識經濟將主導新世紀市場經濟企業發展的命運。教育是本世紀人類生存的基本資源。以美國為首的西方國家早已洞悉教育的重要性，在廿世紀之初已大量投資高等教育，促成美國現時世界高科技領域的領導地位。 近年美國部份著名大學更大力推廣網上學位教育，當中包括著名大學: University of California, California State University, University of Wisconsin 等。網上教育獲取的學位與校園修讀學位無異，同樣獲美國政府及國際承認。

因應網上教育的潮流，美國著名大學Teikyo Post University 現正在港開辦網上學士學位最後一年完成課程。該大學於1890年成立，已有110年歷史，位於美國東北部康奈狄格州 (State of Connecticut)，是政府承認的非弁利大學。多位知名人士獲委任為該大學之Board of Trustees, 包括:Dr. DeWayne Matthews, Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, Boulder, Colorado, USA，and Dr. Ulder Jane Tillman, Director of Health, City of Waterbury, Waterbury, Connecticut, USA…等。該大學師資優良，教授來自美國名牌大學畢業生，例如Michael Gorfinkle, B.S., MIT; M.S., New York University, Noriyuki Inoue, M.Ed., Harvard University; M.A., Columbia University, Colin Pitblado, M.A., Ph.D., Boston University and Domenico Rosa, M.S., Ph.D., McMaster University….等。該大學提供工商管理學士、理學士、文學士等多項學位課程。是次在港提供之On-line(網上) 四個學士學位最後一年完成兼讀課程，計有: (1) Management (2) International Business (3) General Business (4) Management Information System。此外該課程採取較彈性及靈活的頒發証書方法，學員完成3科考試及格由該大學頒發Higher Certificate，6科頒發Advanced Certificate，10科頒發Degree証書。 對十分繁忙但有志進修以獲取認可大學學位之香港同學(包括專業人士) 來說，無疑是一個難得的机會，因為美國著名之大學罕有在港以On-Line (網上)方式開辦‘最後一年'完成學位課程。據大學駐港代表機構 特許行政管理協會 (Charter Management Association) 總裁雷聲隆博士表示，海外大學提供在港最後一年網上學位修讀課程是次實屬一個難得機會，具有領導教育潮流的嶄新概念。(註: 雷聲隆博士乃前香港立法局議員兼香港生產力促進局署理主席。)據悉，特許行政管理協會從事高等教育推廣已20年，是本港其中一個較有歷史及聲譽的辦學機構。中外知名人士，如: 英國上議院亨特利侯爵，澳洲上議院何沈慧霞議員， 中國全國人大港區代表兼前立法局首席議員李鵬飛CBE太平紳士，及前香港規劃地政局局長兼經濟司蕭炯柱太平紳士….等均為該會榮譽贊助人。
